Wayne A. Buckingham faced a number of literacy challenges until his freshman year of college when he discovered how to mentally orient his perceptions. He would go on to finish college, earn his bachelors in industrial education and become a successful businessman and retired athlete. He wants to spend the rest of his life helping people with various learning disabilities and to help under-represented students of historically marginalized populations achieve literacy support, encouragement, and self-esteem with this opportunity.
